Providers selecting the Compass to Care package are brand new providers entering the healthcare market. These providers may or may not already have a Tax ID (EIN) and Georgia Secretary of State (SOS) Registration, but have not provided services. *All permits and fees associated with business needs are on the onus of the provider. Providers in that select this package will receive assistance/guidance with the following:

Identifying required staffing for services

Identifying a market

Obtaining an initial contract to bill for services

Marketing and networking
Providers selecting the Compass to Expansion package are providers that are already enrolled with one or more waiver/state programs in the state of Georgia or another state and are seeking to expand into other Georgia Medicaid waiver/state programs. *All permits and fees associated with business needs are on the onus of the provider. Providers in that select this package will receive assistance with the following:

Identifying required staffing for services

Submitting Applications for enrollment with waiver authority

Providers selecting the Compass to Growth package are providers that are seeking to expand their sites/services within an existing Georgia Medicaid waiver program or State program with which the provider already holds a contract. *All permits and fees associated with business needs are on the onus of the provider. Providers in that select this package will receive assistance with the following:

Submitting Applications for enrollment with waiver authority

Completion of the Department of Community Health (DCH) application*
Providers selecting the Compass to Success retainer are providers that submit multiple applications and/or make consistent credentialing changes to their provider file monthly (3 month minimum). These providers are seeking to expand their sites/services within an existing Georgia Medicaid waiver program, maintain files with the waiver authority, and require assistance with re-credentialing with an entity with which the provider already holds a contract. *All permits and fees associated with business needs are on the onus of the provider. Providers in that select this package will receive assistance/guidance with the following:

Submission of requested documents to waiver authority and DCH
Providers selecting the Compass to Compliance package are providers that are in need of assistance in obtaining permits from Healthcare Facilities Regulation (HFR), a division of the Georgia Department of Community Health. This package can be selected in addition to any of the other packages in order to obtain the required permit that is needed for specific services under various waiver programs. Healthcare Advisors of Georgia assists with obtaining the following permits:
