With over 15 years of dedicated expertise in Georgia Medicaid credentialing and policy, Byanka Tucker is a seasoned professional known for her profound impact in the Georgia Medicaid industry. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to excellence, compliance, and efficiency in managing the Georgia Medicaid credentialing processes.

Throughout her career with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) and the Georgia Collaborative ASO, Byanka has demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of Georgia Medicaid policies and regulations, navigating complex requirements with precision and agility. Her proficiency extends to developing and implementing streamlined credentialing procedures that enhance provider enrollment and optimize healthcare delivery.​
Byanka Tucker's professional journey is characterized by her role in advising healthcare organizations on Georgia Medicaid compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while facilitating seamless access to care for beneficiaries. Her contributions have consistently supported the improvement of healthcare access and quality across communities.

Not only does Ms. Tucker have an extensive professional relationship with Georgia Medicaid, she also has a deeply rooted personal relationship. As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, her first volunteer opportunities and community involvement as early as 4 years old include working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at Clayton County CSB. It is this connection and others that encouraged her to pursue a degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University.

Elaine Hughes, MSW
Social Work Professional | Advocate | Community Leader
Elaine Hughes is a seasoned social work professional with over 22 years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities through Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). A proud graduate of Florida A&M University (FAMU), where she earned her Master of Social Work (MSW), Elaine has built a career grounded in advocacy, compassion, and public service. Her work has helped countless families access life-changing resources, and she continues to mentor new professionals entering the field of human services.

In addition to her professional work, Elaine is a passionate supporter of small businesses and mental health awareness. She often volunteers her time coaching local entrepreneurs, especially those from underserved communities, on how to build sustainable enterprises and improve financial literacy. She also leads faith-based workshops on mental and emotional wellness, bridging the gap between clinical support and spiritual healing—two areas she believes go hand in hand.

Elaine’s faith is central to her life and work. Known for her warm spirit and community-first mindset, Elaine also enjoys collecting vintage hats, baking, and exploring small farm towns country. Her personal motto—“Serve with love, lead with faith”—perfectly captures her approach to both life and leadership.
Kyle S. Thompson
Health Policy Advocate | Special Education Professional | Holistic Wellness Enthusiast
Kyle S. Thompson is a dynamic professional with nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of public health, education, and advocacy. With 14 years of service at the Georgia Department of Community Health, Kyle has contributed significantly to statewide initiatives aimed at improving access to equitable healthcare, with a strong focus on maternal and child health. His passion for education led him to Atlanta Public Schools, where he spent five years working in special education, supporting students with exceptional needs and helping families navigate complex systems of care and learning.

A staunch advocate for maternal mortality policy reform, Kyle works tirelessly to advance solutions that prioritize Black maternal health, community-based care, and culturally competent services. His belief in whole-person healing drives her interest in holistic healthcare—blending traditional wellness practices with evidence-based approaches. Whether he’s speaking at a policy roundtable or mentoring young professionals, Kyle brings a thoughtful, informed, and heart-centered perspective to every conversation.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Kyle is deeply committed to child literacy advocacy and is known to host neighborhood “book pop-ups” where kids can grab a storybook and a healthy snack. He also has a love for collecting antiques—especially vintage apothecary bottles, classic typewriters, and mid-century furniture. Equal parts policy wonk and creative spirit, Kyle S. Thompson lives by the mantra: “Empower the mind, heal the body, protect the future.”
